Last week I heard someone say they were NOT going on a ‘City
mini break’ in order to give. Liz and I have decided not to do some work on our
home in order that we can give generously into the Vision Fund. Maybe you will
decide not to buy those shoes, go out for that meal or not upgrade your phone
just yet.
Today is a good day to think about what you will NOT do in
order to once again be generous towards God and the needs of His people.
You can give a one off financial gift, or make a pledge to
give a certain amount over the next 12 months or a combination of both.
It may be that you have decided to not give to the Vision
Fund, if so then please be easy about that but do celebrate with us who have
decided to.
