Proverbs 1

The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:

for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life,
doing what is right and just and fair. (v1,3)

Doing what is right and just and fair is hugely important to me as a husband, father & leader. Therefore, I intend to read a chapter from Proverbs each day and then briefly blog on the verse that most captures my attention.

Let's see how I get on.

Looking forward to these.
Have you come across this on Proverbs by Mike Reeves. MP3 quality isn't great but content is eye-opening.

I'm looking forward to them too. An incredibly thought provoking book. On the lighter side, I have never forgotten one of the elder's son's at the church where I grew in my faith reminding me that as a tempestuous and questioning teenager I should read Proverbs 25v24 on the morning of my wedding!!

We're impoverished without the wisdom books... and given Christ is the wisdom of God we ought to eat up all the divine wisdom we can get our hands on.
